The IETF hackathon is an event that happens the day after our conference ends and before the main IETF conference starts. The event is free, registration required. It is about 10 minutes walk from our location.

If you can afford to stay one more day after the conference, this would be a good event to attend (even if you are not attending the IETF). For more details, see: https://ietf.org/how/runningcode/hackathons/107-hackathon/

As is generally the case, we have quite a few first time IETF hackathon participants registered already, and I expect many more will register in the coming weeks. You are of course welcome to ask any questions on this list or to me directly at any time, but I have also scheduled a prep call for the Monday before the hackathon at 9am Pacific US/Canada time.

This call is completely optional and open to everyone, but it is primarily for first time participants who want to get a better idea of how the hackathon works and what to expect when they arrive at the start of the hackathon.
