Title: A Linux Implementation of SEARCH -- a New TCP Slow Start Algorithm Authors: Maryam Ataei Kachooei (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) Joshua Chung (Lexington Christian Academy) Amber Cronin (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) Benjamin Peters (Viasat Inc) Feng Li (Viasat Inc) Jae Won Chung (Viasat Inc) Mark Claypool (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) Site: https://0x18.netdevconf.info/paper/1?cap=01aS-whQZWpA-M
Congratulations!
The suggestion from the PC is that we need to have the abstract indicate what the ask here is. Are we just looking at something like a "CUBICv2" with Hystart replaced by SEARCH? Also the 5.16 is no longer supported so it might be useful if this demo could be implemented on something more recent or via the latest BPF congestion control feature that doesn't depend on kernel version. In addition any data that could be provided to back up the claims would be useful.
